Welcome to my genderf*cked world

A new mum reflects on their existence as a queer bodied person and how the patriarchy has f***ed them from the moment they were born, right through to the birth of their son. As a nonbinary queer person, Scarlet has slowly come to terms with their identity and their place in society, AND THEN… they fell pregnant. 

Call Me Mother discusses what it is to be perceived as something you are not, how our bodies work for and against us, and how the world tells us who we are as soon as we pop out of the womb. 

Join us for an evening where we question what it is to be defined by what’s between our legs. Bring an open heart and expect raw storytelling, rage and a touch of whimsy.
