ABOUT THE EVENT

Want to find out more about your family? Come find out how the Storylines project and other resources at the State Library of Western Australia that can help you to research and find out more about your kinship.

The State Library’s Storylines Archive connects Aboriginal people to the State Library’s heritage, history, and photographic collections. You can view and print thousands of photos, plus access to a growing number of oral histories, documents, sounds and movies.

At the session we will also connect you to other organisations such as the State Records Office and the Aboriginal History Research Services.

These session are generally held the last Wednesday of the month except for December.

Mob only – these sessions are for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Non-Indigenous people are welcome to call or email if you are interested to learn more about the program, but we will not accept non-Indigenous participants who wish to join a session to observe or understand how the program works.
