Revealed: New and Emerging WA Aboriginal Artists

ABOUT THE EVENT

Remarkable in its breadth, Revealed conjures a journey across the vast state of Western Australia—from the red dirt of the Kimberley to the towering forests of the South-West—with works spanning painting, printmaking, photography, drawing, sculpture and weaving.  

Delivered under the custodianship of the Aboriginal Art Centre Hub Western Australia (AACHWA), Revealed showcases the work of Aboriginal artists and offers a rare chance to purchase their work, with all proceeds going directly to artists and their communities—supporting the continuation of emerging Aboriginal artists’ practices. 

In 2026, Revealed will present more than 100 artists chosen by a distinguished selection panel including Ilona McGuire (Noongar and Kungarakan), Glenn Iseger-Pilkington (Nhanda, Nyoongar, Dutch and Scottish), Lynley Nargoodah (Nyikina and Walmajarri) and Zali Morgan (Whadjuk Balladong and Wilman).

The exhibition is accompanied by an art market, free artist talks, artist-led workshops, a drop-in making space and a not-to-be-missed opening night.
