ABOUT THE EVENT
Join PICA for an artist talk on Redaction Toolkit, a new collaborative project by artists Jacob Canet-Gibson, Stirling Kain, Harrison W. See and Jordee Stewart ahead of their exhibition at Lightworks in March 2026.
Developed during the artists’ Quick Response residency, hear from the artists as they explore responses to speculative conflict, disaster and the potential social responses which arise in their aftermath: redaction, censorship and myth-making. Through optical lens technologies, historical and contemporary photographic workflows, painting and drawing, soft sculpture and graphic design, the artists’ diverse practices reveal different facets of subject matter.
