ABOUT THE EVENT

Bringing together abstract works by some of WA’s most historically important artists alongside newcomers and lesser-known makers. Spanning the second half of the twentieth century to the present day, the exhibition examines the ways (and reasons) these artists have been committed to staging profoundly heightened encounters with the complex intersections between materiality, meaning, perception, place, time, history and identity.
