Face painting in the Perth Cultural Centre, Northbridge

Bring the family into the city on Sunday 20 February and play your way through the Perth Cultural Centre!

‘O’ Day is your invitation to explore the cultural heart of Perth while enjoying the many entertainers and performers who will move through the Centre throughout the day. These include the 1920s themed acrobatic/comedy group The Night Norns; I Veneziani, a trio of Venetian characters; opera signers; a balloon twister; and a stilt walker.

For the children and young at heart, free origami lessons and face painting will be on offer in the PICA amphitheatre while over at the Urban Orchard, an old-school magician will put on a 15-minute show every hour, on the hour. To complete the picture, a magnificent not-to-be-missed vintage carousel will provide free rides for the children between 10am and 4pm.

But we all know playing is not just reserved for children. Parents can wind their way through the Perth Cultural Centre enjoying live acoustic music, some retail therapy, free exhibitions and a great selection of gourmet food, gelato and barista coffee.
