The new look Perth Cultural Centre is taking shape, with the urban orchard and wetland areas coming together before your eyes and the formerly grey landscape becoming brighter by the day. Have a look at our time lapse vision of the urban orchard garden beds being built.

If you’re walking through the PCC this week you’ll notice a flurry of activity in the urban orchard area as the seating is being installed and works continue to get the area ready for planting day. Landscaping works will also continue throughout several areas in the PCC with much of it already finished providing comfortable, shady and grassy spots to eat lunch and meet up with people.
The stage in the wetlands is coming together too. Walk by and visualise what it will be like when completed. It’s going to be a beautiful spot for outdoor performances when the sun is shining.

The restoration of the William Street buildings continues with some of the hoardings recently taken down revealing the inside of some of the buildings. Have a look at the improvements that have already been made as these gorgeous old heritage buildings are given a new lease on life.
