After its highly successful debut in 2009, St Jerome’s Laneway Festival returns to the Perth Cultural Centre on Saturday, 6 February.

More than 30 local, national and international music acts including 2009 Triple J Hottest 100 winners Mumford & Sons plus Echo & The Bunnymen and Sarah Blasko will perform on several stages to thousands of music lovers.

EPRA CEO Tony Morgan said supporting events like the St Jerome’s Laneway Festival is part of EPRA’s revitalisation of the Perth Cultural Centre.

“I encourage festival goers to enjoy the day and return to see how the area is becoming livelier, safer and a place for the community to share and enjoy.” Mr Morgan said.

Also coming to the Perth Cultural Centre as part of the Perth International Arts Festival (PIAF) is the Appearing Rooms water fountain installation by Danish artist Jeppe Hein.

Opening on 12 February, Appearing Rooms features jets of water shooting into the air to create 'rooms', which disappear as quickly as they emerge.
