Water!
The very basis of all life. So plentiful and yet so scarce.
Through beautiful theatrical images, evocative live music and song, together with colourful human characters, a story is told of a village caught in the grip of severe drought, battling against the intrusion of a cotton-growing company who need water for their crops. At the centre of the struggle is an eccentric geologist and his daughter. Her discovery could ensure the survival of the village.
Catch the Rain is created and performed by a unique father-and-daughter team, Ellis and Céire Pearson.
