AGWA Allsorts Comedy Debate - 28 Sept
Art Gallery of WA
View map

AGWA’s Allsorts Comedy Debates are for Allsorts of people with Allsorts of passionate ideas!

On two nights, all star comedian Dave Callan (Triple J, Rove Live, Spicks and Specks, the Footy Show) will lead a crew of local and interstate comedians as they fiercely contest hot topics inspired by the artists in Picasso to Warhol.

As current affairs collide with Modernism, these wacky and spontaneous debates will offer a comedic exploration of 20th Century ideas in the21st Century.

After the belly laughs settle, the audience will decide which side wins … and which side enters the Modernist hall of shame.

So come see Picasso to Warhol and enjoy a wild new take on the works that made the world modern.

Friday 28 September's Topic:
Do we make more sense in our dreams?

Inspired by Giorgio De Chirico and Joan Miró Dream interpretation and that blurry line between conscious reality and obscurity
