2012 AWESOME Festival

Perth's favourite family event, The AWESOME Festival, is happening this October School holidays! Presenting a spectacular feast of theatre, dance, early childhood, music, film and lots of hands on activities for kids of all ages.

Running from 6-19 October in the Perth Cultural Centre, young people and their grown-ups can catch a robotic rock band from New Zealand, check out a theatre or comedy show in the AWESOME Spiegeltent and even create their very own artwork at Splat!

Parents and bubs can also enjoy our Early Childhood program including a magical stage production of Grug, the much-loved picture book character created by Ted Prior or create a book together at the Better Beginnings Books-To-Go tent.

The AWESOME Garden precinct (behind the WA Museum) will be home to the AWESOME Spiegeltent, and outdoor theatre venue, a chill-out zone, a café and food and drink stalls.

Whatever your age, taste or budget, there is something special waiting just for you at the AWESOME Festival.
